Maybe it’s because I’m getting old (71) but it seems harder and harder to find businesses you can really trust! Well . . . just found a really good genuine 5 Star one! Needed my septic tank emptying, and I know it’s big (and old, bit like me) and decided to give Cargate Engineering a try as they appear to have a good reputation. Booked 1000 gallon as that seems ‘normal’. Lovely tanker driver, very friendly, helpful and informative. Unfortunately 1000 gallons didn’t drop the level a great deal, and certainly not enough to get the tank back to its working level. The driver (wish I had asked his name) phoned through to the office and although this was the first time I had used them they gave him the go ahead to take another 1000 out, which filled his tanker to capacity! The septic tank still wasn’t down to a working level! But they fitted me into their schedule and emptied the lorry, coming straight back to take another load to get the level below the over flows. Brilliant company and brilliant driver, they bent over backwards to provide a great service, putting themselves under pressure by fitting the extra load into the same day so the tank could start working correctly again.
